Updating itunes music library
Not really sure what that meant, but I could not select any of the greyed out songs or do anything else with them.I searched online and tried all kinds of crazy stuff like checking random boxes and changing settings, etc, but nothing worked.(I tried to just locate the music in Music/i Tunes/i Tunes Media/Automatically Added Toi Tunes, but i Tunes did some strange things to this folder even though I’ve told it NOT to manage my music for me.
My collection is large enough that I’ve split /Music/mp3/ into 27 subfolders, 0-9, A, B, C, D … Each new rip goes in the appropriate Alpha Num folder and that way Bruno Mars gets filed with the M artists even though I’ve tagged all the tracks Bruno Mars–keeping Picard, Music Brainz, and CDDB happy.Apple makes no representations regarding third-party website accuracy or reliability.
